Connecting Judge.me to Klaviyo allows you to trigger automated flows directly off review events. You can instantly thank customers who leave 5-star ratings, send win-back offers to unhappy buyers, or suppress active review requests once someone has already submitted feedback.
The setup takes less than 10 minutes, but there are a couple of small prerequisites you need to get right first.
Step 1: Confirm Your Judge.me Setup and Plan
Before touching Klaviyo, make sure Judge.me is properly installed and active on your Shopify store. You should have the core app embed enabled in your Shopify theme editor so widgets render correctly on product pages.
Here is the catch that trips most people up: you must be on Judge.me's paid tier, which they call the Awesome Plan. It costs roughly $15 per month.
If you are on the free plan, Judge.me will not pass metric events into Klaviyo. It is a slightly annoying paywall, but it is necessary if you want automated review syncing.
Step 2: Ensure Shopify Is Connected to Klaviyo
Judge.me links your data through your core store connection. Head into Klaviyo, look at the left-hand navigation, and click on Integrations.
Check whether your Shopify store is already active. If you are starting fresh and have not integrated Shopify yet, click Explore Apps, search for Shopify, enter your store URL, and complete the installation prompts.
If Shopify is already connected and syncing order data, you are ready to move straight to the next step.
Step 3: Install the Judge.me Integration in Klaviyo
Inside Klaviyo, stay on the Integrations page and click Explore Apps in the top right corner. Search for "Judge.me" in the directory.
Click on the Judge.me card and select Install. Klaviyo will prompt you to select your account and grant data permissions.
Once you click Allow, you will be redirected to Shopify to confirm the app connection. Approve the permissions, and Shopify will bounce you straight back to Klaviyo with the integration marked as enabled.
Step 4: Verify the Metrics and Set Up Flows
Once connected, Judge.me starts sending event data into your account. To verify everything works, navigate to Analytics and select Metrics inside Klaviyo.
Type "Judge" into the search bar. You should see events such as Submitted Review or Updated Review listed in your metric library.
Keep in mind that if your store has not received any fresh reviews since activating the integration, it can take roughly 15 to 30 minutes (or until a new review is submitted) for the metric to populate. That is completely normal. Once that first event registers, you can use it as a flow trigger or as a segment condition across your entire account.
